More front panel work has been done. There's yet another revision of the front panel artwork and yet another revision of the front panel schematics. I've split the front panel schematics into the two obvious components: one is the front panel controller card that connects to the system bus, and the other is a huge board with all the LEDs, their drivers and their connectors, as well as a the switches, their debounce circuitry, and a tiny amount of logic that only pertains to the front panel itself.
The controller card has yet to be placed and routed (the schematic itself will be a relatively simple cut and paste job from the original front panel schematic).
The front panel board itself will not be placed or routed because my version of Eagle can't do boards as big as this. The plan is to build it on either one big or two smaller VeroBoards/StripBoards.
The artwork for the dress panel is in a decent state, but I'm not planning on having that constructed until the very end of the project, because it looks like it'll be very expensive to have made. I wouldn't like to make any mistakes with it and it's really not that important as long as the LEDs and switches are there and functional.
At the same time, I've produced the first version of the Front Panel Operations Guide, which hell help solidify the functionality of the panel. You can get the panel guide here:
