   * Fixed bug in set handling: an assertion would fail when checking if an
     element greater than a set's maximum element is in the set.
   * Fixed serious bug in set handling: set_universe() failed silently for

     as-is.
   * Corrected minor spelling mistakes in the code.
   * A couple of minor corrections to the manpage.
