Sorry, indexes don't print well yet. Prepare for some ugliness. And why would you want to print this, anyway?

Tools and Toys

Here you'll find tiny little web applications, helpers, calculators and toys. Most of them are entirely useless and probably buggy as hell. You'll also find better versions of them elsewhere, but sometimes I start coding without thinking just for the joy of it. And besides, no matter what you try and do, somebody out there has already done it, and done it better. So why bother?

ANSI to PNG Converter

Convert ANSI graphics to bitmap images! This is a web version of my ANSI file to PNG converter. Written in Python, it simulates a PC's text mode using different VGA text fonts and renders colourful BBS graphics, affectionately (if somewhat inaccurately) known as ANSI.

Polyamory Graph Explorer

Use this interactive exploration widget to map polyamorous relationships, and to examine their characteristics. This is used in my write-up for the so-called Poly Equation and is likely one of the nerdiest things I've ever done.

Tape Label Generator

This tool generates sheets of barcode labels for DLT and LTO cartridges in tape libraries with barcode scanners. The script's labels covered my work needs for years, right until we stopped using tapes.

The BedroomLAN Befunge Interpreter

This is your chance to play with Befunge online. No interpreter needed! I conceived this Befunge toy in a feverish fit (one might say it was ill-conceived), and as a way to practice JavaScript (not my favourite programming language).
